The highly-anticipated iOS 10 update for iPhones and iPads became available on September 13, but unfortunately, it was the opposite of helpful.

Depending on how you look at it, the new update to your iPhone’s lock screen is either a great thing or the worst feature to come out of iOS 10. See, each time there’s a new software update (regardless of OS), you usually have to wait a day or two and see how the new upgrade responds to being on the public’s various devices.
If 15 minutes has passed and your device still displays the recovery mode screen, Apple says you will need to repeat all of the steps and choose “Restore” instead of “Update”.
However, just less than an hour after launch, social media was flooded with complaints from users that their iPhone and iPad devices are getting “bricked” after attempting the over-the-air iOS 10 update.
The iOS keyboard has been given a similar intelligence boost, Apple said, and is now able to better understand context as you type, including showing you a snapshot of your calendar as you discuss making plans with contacts.
Apple has released a guide that explains how to restore your affected device. In order to solve it, they would have to link their mobile device to a computer and have it connected to iTunes where the restoration could take place.
iOS 10 is out now.
‘The problem was quickly resolved and we apologize to those customers.
It is always recommended to back up your iOS device before performing a major iOS update.
You see the Connect to iTunes screen.
Anyway, in upgrading to iOS 10 on a person’s iPhone or iPad, first, tick on Settings, General, then Software Update.
The iOS 10 update brings a slew of new features that focus on users’ security.

iOS 10 is available right now as a free download. If this didn’t work for you, then sadly the optin left for you is to reach out to an Apple Store and get it fixed by AppleCare.
