When Apple has released the iOS 8 with a size of 4.58GB, many device owners were scandalized because there were plenty users who had devices with an internal memory of 16GB, and we all know that there is no available card slot for expansion.
In this case, once the device has restored to stock OS, downgrading it to iOS 9.0 is impossible, and would ultimately cost the user more time and effort.
