Apple iPad Mini 4 Renders Leaked Online, suggest 6.1mm thickness

It’s thought that Apple is planning to launch the iPad mini 4 alongside the iPad Pro, the super-sized version of its tablet that hopes to make an impact on the business world, later this year, with the new flagship iPad Air not coming until early 2016. The current iPad Mini 3 measures 0.29 inches in height and features a few minor updates including a TouchID fingerprint sensor. But the next 7.9-inch model may also mimic the iPad Air 2’s 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and completely laminated display with anti-reflective coating, and could pack in 2GB of RAM.
The next iPad Mini may be the thinnest yet out of Cupertino. Although the event itself remains unconfirmed, Apple will more than likely push through with the rumored affair to counter upcoming tech unveilings from competitors, particularly those that will be revealed at the scheduled IFA event in Berlin, also slated for next month.
There’s additionally been discussion of the new tablet getting a percentage of the same equipment and components of the iPad Air 2.
