The arrival of the iPad Pro in India so soon after its USA launch again underlines how seriously Apple is viewing the Indian market, after years in which the country was far from Apple’s priority list.
The Pixelmator Team has updated its award winning image editing app with iPad Pro and Apple Pencil support. There is no word on the Apple Pencil pricing in India. There is now an auto-straighten feature to correctly orient the horizon line in one tap, larger font sizes up to 1000 pixels, and snapping cropping lines to precisely align your trimmed images. In addition to useful shortcuts when pressing firmly on the Pixelmator icon from the home screen and on an image in the Pixelmator gallery, Pixelmator for iOS 2.2 also brings 3D Touch-sensitive painting.
Optimizations for iPad Pro and 3D Touch are more than enough to qualify the new version of Pixelmator for iOS as a significant update. Pixelmator on iPhone 6s and 6s Plus now provides full 3D Touch support. A firm press while inside the app will allow users to quickly view an image and perform other tasks such as copying or deleting photos. Now you can change the look of a stroke simply by varying the pressure you apply on the screen with your finger, without having to change the brush settings.
Additional improvements include enhanced cropping, making it easier to crop and straighten images.
Finally, Best Buy wants you to buy an iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, or the slightly older iPhone 6 and 6 Plus versions. As expected, there are also a host of performance and bug fixes in tow.

Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 9.0 or later, Pixelmator for iOS is available on the App Store for .99.
