Apple has kept this launch an invite only like most launches.

The fruit company has sent out invites to select people of the media and press. Along with that new hardware, we can also expect release date announcements for macOS Sierra, iOS 10, watchOS 3, and tvOS 10.

The new iPhone is expected to keep the iPhone 6 design cues, but not much is expected to change.

Well, for starters, we’ll be seeing the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

According to consensus from Apple enthusiasts, the iPhone 7 is likely to new features such as it being water resistant and doing away with the headphone jack altogether for wireless music. As per the sources report says that this is the time of year for a new iPhone 7. As you can see in the leaked image above, iPhone 7 will sport dual camera setup on its back side. The launch event will take place in San Francisco at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium at 10 a.m. PT.

As with talk of its unveiling and availability, there have been no shortage of rumors about the design and features of the handset itself.

The upcoming iPhones might be powered by Apple’s A10 chipset paired with 2GB of RAM on iPhone 7, and 3GB of RAM on the iPhone 7 Plus.

The invite reads only, “See you on the 7th”. One possible reason for the change may be to create a bit more room on the iPhone in order to boost the phone’s battery, CNET reported.

They claim the problems surfaced due to Apple’s decision not to properly protect its touchscreen controller chips, as it did with the previous iPhone 5 via a metal shield.
