The decision of Apple Inc to dike the 3.5mm headphone jack had created an extreme objection from its consumers while the critics have already grumbled that their previous headphones won’t fit in the charging points without an adapter. Apple launched its much-awaited iPhone 7 on Wednesday and the company announced that the phone is IP67 certified and water resistant. I think I’ve made a decision to upgrade to a 128GB iPhone 7 Plus, but the only ones available right now in my area are Rose Gold-there’s no indication when other colors will come back in stock, there’s no option to be notified of when they are, and there’s no option to simply reserve, say, a Jet Black one, and just get it when it’s ready.

Apple revealed some details of the A10 Fusion processor, but not the juicy ones.
“The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. have two and one hour battery life gains [respectively] over the 6s and 6s Plus”, said Morgan Stanley analyst Katy Huberty in an upbeat research note sent to clients.
Um pointed out that some people may find the iPhone 7 to be inconvenient because it no longer has a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Apple AirPods will be priced at $159, which aren’t that bad for truly wireless earphones. “They appear to match a patent Apple filed back in March for waterproofing board-to-board connectors”. It features gesture-based Siri activation and a microphone with voice-isolating capabilities. As ever, this comes with Feel At Home roaming, but since this happens to be an “Advanced” plan, you can also hotspot your entire data allowance – pretty handy. Of course, as wireless headphones, they rely on battery power. The standard price iPhone 7 starts at £599, rising to £699 for the 128GB model and £799 for the 256GB model. In the said event, Apple also highlighted a new variant in its flagship smartphone – the Jet Black iPhone 7.
As of now, Apple hasn’t talked about the lack of OIS in the secondary camera.
This could change with the next generation, the analyst says, as Apple is looking into ways to introduce OIS for the telephoto lens too. The camera is also capable of capturing a wider range of colors, to make them more “true-to-life”.
That means an iPhone 7 Plus with its dual camera can pull off a trick for a smartphone: “Thus far, expensive stand-alone cameras with great lenses have been the ones able to offer what is called “bokeh”, a way to blur the background and focus on the subject in the foreground”. This allows for 2x optical zoom and depth-of-field capability similar to that which can be achieved with a DSLR.
It also has a 5MP front-facing camera with an f/1.7 aperture and auto-HDR mode. It does not physically depress and instead features customizable tactile feedback that vibrates in reaction to your touch.

The appearance of the iPhone has undergone some slight changes. Though be prepared to wait – at time of writing, the queue was more than an hour long.
