Apple iPhone 7 prices leaked before launch date

A recently surfaced online report suggested that Apple plans to forego the 3.5mm audio jack and replace it with the lightning connector for audio output, for the upcoming iPhone 7.

Apple has been maintaining utmost secrecy on its flagship device iPhone 7, but leaks have revealed several details, including specifications and release date.

As is clear by the invite’s text, the event will be held at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, which seems to have become Apple’s favourite venue for all its big product launches.

The iPhone 7 will officially be unveiled on september 7. A photo leaked on a Chinese microblogging site, Weibo, shows a detailed spec speech of the iPhone 7 256GB model, reports1z Mac Rumors. Although, some reports suggest that Apple is in talks with Samsung for the OLED panel, yet there is no official confirmation on this. Windows 10 users running the Edge browser may also view the event. Already known is the heated decision to remove a headphone jack from the device, forcing users to purchases wireless headphones. This is the fifth year that Apple is coming up with an early September announcement of the new products. The number of consumers willing to upgrade to what sources are calling the “iPhone 7” jumped to 51%? up from 22% in March, when Apple launched the 4-inch iPhone SE.

The Apple iPhone 7 is expected in two variants. Both the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus are said to be powered by an A10 processor. It would be considered troublesome for some users to have to charge a watch every day, so having a more energy efficient Apple Watch would do a great deal for Apple.

Apple may also be planning to remove the physical Touch ID button below the screen and directly integrate with it the biometric functionality.

“Apple’s repair Geniuses aren’t equipped to make specialized repairs to the logic board in-house, so they can’t actually fix Touch Disease”, wrote Julia Bluff of iFixit.org.

Approximately 83% of current iPhone owners have no interest in buying the next Apple Watch, believed to be known as the Apple Watch 2, according to app and mobile shopping company Branding Brand in a recent survey.

The freshly leaked snap appears to be of the packaging insert for the iPhone 7.
