Apple is expected to show off the new iPhone next week when the company holds its autumn product launch event in San Francisco.
The upgraded handset will also include a re-engineered home button that responds to pressure with a vibrating sensation rather than a true physical click and the removal of the headphone jack.
Given the confirmed features so far, iPhone 7 is likely to retain the existing Lightning port while dropping the highly-rumoured headphone jack from its arsenal. The company’s last major iPhone overhaul was in 2014, when the company super-sized its display with the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus (which were followed by the 6s, 6s Plus and the smaller SE in 2015).
Along with the newest phone, many people are awaiting the newest iOS 10 software update for all Apple phones.
Samsung’s Galaxy S7 has one of the best cameras on the market at the moment, while Huawei debuted a dual-lens cameras earlier this year.
Case: Smartphone case maker Spigen has released its line of iPhone 7 cases, 9to5Mac notes. The Apple iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus users are suing the company over a defect in the phones, commonly known as the “Touch Disease“.
We know that two new iPhone models are due out, along with what should be the official release of iOS 10 which is now still in beta.
The US technology giant looks set to unveil its next generation iPhone on September 7th and some big changes could be on there way.
