Apple is reportedly developing an iPhone that charges wirelessly

Earlier today we heard that Apple managed to increase its handset sales by around 20 percent in 2015, although things slowed down in the last quarter, a new smaller iPhone could help the company boost sales of their iPhones between now and September, when the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are expected to launch. Below are three of fifty-three images that were shot on Apple’s new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus that began to be featured on billboards across 85 cities in 26 countries on Sunday.

The design of this device is expected to be extremely close to the iPhone 6, with Apple veering away from the colorful and plasticky visage that it has used in previous affordable iPhone releases.

But Apple is looking to have that gadget beat when they plan to release wireless charging technology that can restore a smartphone’s dead battery back to full charge while the phone is at the other side of the room.

Apple has been a company which has been surrounded by various rumors off late.

Samsung came up with their Qi wireless charging pads that enable users to charge their Samsung devices by simply placing them on top of the pad.

Bloomberg reports that Apple is working to develop a charger that can restore a battery even when the smartphone is not placed on top of the charging device. Larger screen sizes are a two-handed affair.

Other features include improved Bluetooth 4.2 support, Voice over LTE (VoLTE) and newer 802.11ac Wi-Fi chips from the iPhone 6s.

The iPhone 7 could be a photographer’s best friend.

If the rumors are indeed true, the dual camera system will probably be designed by leveraging LinX’s technology. The move means that you won’t be able to purchase a base 16GB iPhone 6s, for example, for $199 with a two-year agreement. Likely, the iPhone 5se will slot into these same price points.

A recent rumour claimed Apple would be using a dual-camera setup for the iPhone 7 Plus, but new predictions suggest that the dual-camera array will appear on an additional third iPhone 7 model.
