Apple plans to share this excitement by selling Apple watch bands in the colours of national flags of 14 countries for its customers.

These are official bands from Apple but we guess with the popularity of the games, don’t be surprised if you come across some bands that might be knock-offs that try to capitalize on it.

These limited-edition Apple Watch bands will surely be a hit at the games in Brazil and will likely fetch high resell values online as collectors and Apple fanatics itch to get their hands on them.

Apple isn’t billing the bands as specifically Olympic themed, but instead refers to them as a celebration of athletes. The flag bands in question are reportedly made out of nylon.

The bands, many of them striped, included the colors of each country’s flag.

The straps will become available in early August, but there’s obviously another way to get them, as sprinter Trayvon Bromell showed off his US -themed band on Twitter Thursday. One athlete, USA sprinter Trayvon Bromell, has already been photographed wearing the United States of America band on his Apple Watch.

Apple has designed limited edition bands for the Apple Watch in the past that don’t go on sale to the public. But then again, it wasn’t until the Apple Watch launched past year that Apple threw its hat into the fashion ring.
