Apple has started sending invites to media houses for September 7 event where the iPhone 7 will be officially launched.

The iPhone 7 should roughly be priced at around the same US$650 price as the existing base model iPhone 6s, but that price could still fluctuate either way. Instead, it says “See you on the 7th”, without so much as an exclamation mark.

Apple has improved the rear cameras, as the iPhone 7 will come with a larger lens, while the iPhone 7 Plus will have a dual camera setup, but most likely, the resolution will be kept at 12MP.

The new handset will be an important addition for Apple, with the iPhone generating about two-thirds of the company’s sales. Apple has sent out invitations for this year’s Keynote event which everyone is excited for because the new line of iPhones, iPads and Macs is expected to be unveiled at the event.

Traditionally it takes about one to two weeks for Apple to make the phones available in its retail stores after its product launch, meaning the new phone should be available in Australia later next month. So, it’s safe to assume that we will witness the launch of the iPhone 7 and possibly a new iPad and Watch 2 series as well.

According to IT Pro, Apple cofounder Steve Wozniak warned that eliminating the 3.5mm headphone jack from iPhone might be a bad idea. Considering the timing and pattern we are most definitely expecting the iPhone 7 and its iterations.

Respected technology leaker Evan Blass claimed the iPhone 7 would be released for purchase on the week of September 12th, but the company has not indicated a date. Except, it is highly expected according to reports that the new iPhone will have a redesigned “Home” button.

Apple has seen a slow growth in sales in 2016, and that has made the investors anxious after the reports. The requirements for live streaming are pretty basic, with users requiring at least iOS 7.0, OS X 10.8.5, Windows 10 or Apple TV (2nd, 3rd and 4th-gen) to watch the stream.
