He confirmed that both the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus will come with IP67-grade protection, meaning it’ll be safe against being submerged in anything between 15cm and one metre of water for as long as 30 minutes, and also block out annoying dust particles. The device will also reportedly be powered by an A10 chipset and its operating system will most likely be the iOS 10.

Reports also claim that the iPad will be improved in terms of faster screen zooming, scrolling, and panning.

If speculations are to be believed – that iPad Mini 5 or the recently touted iPad Pro Mini is slated to be unveiled alongside the user-favorite iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus along with its equally anticipated iOS 10 – then Apple’s imminent September 7 event may very well be its biggest launching event in its history.

Three variations in storage capacity will be released – a 64 GB, a 128 GB, and a 256 GB tablet.

As expected, Apple did not unveil a new iPad, but that didn’t mean the tablet went completely ignored. If the unit will come with this feature, it will be sold for $599.

On the other hand, there have been reports suggesting that the iPad Air 3 will be launched in March 2017, instead of this November. Hence, the iPad Air’s launch might again be pushed back.

“We expect three new iPads (12.9″ iPad Pro 2, new size 10.5″ iPad Pro & low-priced 9.7″ iPad) to be launched in 2017, though this may not drive shipment growth amid structural headwinds; 2017F shipments to fall 10-20% YoY”, the tech analyst said.
