Apple kicks off preorders for iPhone 7 and 7 Plus
The iPhone 7 an 7 Plus will be available in 25 countries on Friday, September 16. If you want to pick one up, it’s now available on Apple’s online store, but there’s a good chance some third-party option that is cheaper and more mobile might come out down the line.

But gone is the traditional headphone jack, requiring audio to be delivered via Apple’s proprietary “lightning” connector or by wireless – and that may ruffle feathers.
Removal of the headphone jack has allowed Apple to increase the size of the 4.7-inch iPhone 7 battery by 14%, finally offering users with an extra two hours of battery life.
It feels like, already, more has been written about Apple doing away with the headphones jack on the iPhone 7 than any of the device’s new features, but the story still has some way to run. And you can plug headphones or speakers into the 3.5mm audio jack to listen to music at the same time.
Apple do their accounting in U.S. dollars, meaning that sales in the United Kingdom mean less to their revenues due to the weak pound and the USA technology giant has hiked up prices to reflect this.
Apple AirPods look similar to the earlier earbuds Apple was bundling with the iPhones.
Apple also has introduced a new set of ear buds, called AirPods, that connect wirelessly and will retail for $160.
The move is certainly a bold one, but Nicer’s parody site also points out the smug hubris (and, grudgingly, the eventual correctness) of such a decision: “Innovation questions everything you know”. Apple’s Phil Schiller said that the headphones get rid of the pairing problems of Bluetooth and include a new W1 chip which among other things will make the connection between devices (and the other headpiece) easier.
Apple has also reiterated its financial guidance for the September quarter which predicts declining iPhone sales as well as a revenue drop of almost 10 percent year-over-year.

The tech giant also announced a series of updates for the Apple watch.
