Apple launches iOS 9, here’s how to download

Announced back in June, iOS 9 promises a slew of features to keep Apple users happy – especially those who are buying the new iPhone 6S and iPad Pro. They can either transfer some photos or videos to their computer and delete them on their device, or delete some apps that are hardly ever used.

However, now Apple users are being warned that the new system comes with an auto-wipe.

But Apple customers can expect their built-in apps to work differently with the iOS 9 update, available on September 16. First declutter your home screen and free up space by removing any unused or unwanted app that are installed. Some of these apps include: tips, stocks, an Apple watch app, Safari mobile browser and Mail. Here are all the things you can do with your Apple products after the upgrade. If a message says that an update is available on your iOS device, tap Install Now. The worldwide iOS 9 update schedule has also been shared by Apple, so if you’re not from the United States of America, you can check the table below for more information. You need to make sure your device is either fully charged or plugged in before you try to download and install the update and that you are connected to Wi-Fi. I’ll cover how to upgrade to iOS 9 and how to do a fresh install of iOS 9 in this article. You can check the version in the Settings menu, by selecting General followed by About and then Version.

For example, Siri will know when you’re going out for a run in the morning and launch the music app when you plug in a pair of headphones, or automatically offer directions when you jump into your auto. Anything above 60 percent should be fine, but the weaker your wireless connection, the more taxing the connection will be on your battery.

Two-factor authentication, where a second layer is added to log-in, is also being introduced, with users now required to enter a code when they log in from a new device for the first time.
