Described by Apple as “the biggest iOS release ever”, iOS 10 includes a wide variety of new features that will soon be coming to iPhones, iPads and iPods all over the world later this year. In the beta version of the operating system, the voice-activated assistant can be used through non-Apple apps like WhatsApp. According to Federighi, Siri best understands messaging and purchase requests, which is why Apple is starting with those kinds of apps.

Regular Apple users will have to wait until this fall for the unveil of the feature, when iOS 10 will be available for download.

The new feature was discovered by developers who got their hands on iOS 10 beta 1, and it turns out it’s one of a number of features that Apple didn’t discuss during its keynote. Most people just want to get rid of these apps because they don’t actually use them, and they don’t want them cluttering their home screen. Besides office work like web searches or document searches, Siri will help you do all other tasks like, ordering your food, blocking an appointment and without using fingers you can ask Siri to switch off your computer. The greatest aspect about this new feature is that users will also be given the option to reinstall any deleted stock applications from the App Store.

Removing the stock apps do come with some caveats. There is a shadier path to install the iOS 10 Beta version.

There’s so much to say about the new iOS 10, however here are just a few of the favorite things you ought to have the new OS. The latest announcement rocked the social media realm as iPhone users were thrilled upon knowing that they would be able to release their phone’s unused apps.
