Although the rumours of a Black Friday 2015 launch for the MacBook Air 2016 have already been debunked, Yibada has reported that the device will be released on a different holiday instead.

“The kept [the MacBook Air] around just as they do with older iPhones, but the MacBook is now in the same position as the newest iPhone”, Jan Dawson of Jackdaw Research said”. The latest Macbook Pro is set to have new Skylake-U chipset.

Apple MacBook Air will be revamped with a bigger screen and could be launched in 2016.

MacBook Air might soon be phased out of Apple’s product line in 2016 even though there’s no date set for the release of a newer product. Meanwhile, ArsTechnica states that comparisons between this year’s MacBook Air and the iPad Pro have revealed that the tablet/laptop hybrid actually is faster when it comes to single core score but lags behind in multi-core. Some Apple fans were upset, because they expected that they will have the gadget before the end of the year. The slimmer design will be enabled by “fully redesigned” internal components across the board, and Apple is reportedly now working with its suppliers to develop these new components. If the smallest MacBook Air were to be replaced, Apples 12-inch MacBook would be a likely candidate to serve as Apples ultraportable option.

We’ll keep you posted on further developments in this story. With that in mind, it would make sense for Apple to introduce a newly designed Macbook Air next year.

Market analysts said Apple avoid launching the product during the recent Black Friday rush since the huge discounts and bargains will overshadow the release. However, Apple hasn’t given the MacBook Air a major upgrade since 2010 and maybe now is the right time to deliver.

The rumor, which comes via Chinese news site, Economic Daily News, says Apple will be keeping the 13-inch MacBook Air models, but it will ditch the 11-inch version in order to clear a path for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, according to the news outlet’s sources.
