“Enticing Android users over to Apple’s iOS will be part of the strategy, but is Apple Music a good enough experience?” Now that changes. Today Apple’s music app makes the jump to Android.

Subscribers who have another device with Apple Music already installed simply need to log into the service using their Apple ID and password, and all their saved playlists, songs, and other media will be accessible via the cloud.
At the WWDC event in June, Apple has announced that its Apple Music service will be released for Android OS.
Apple’s Eddy Cue, speaking with TechCrunch, said the reason for Apple launching on Android was because of music’s global appeal, while also recognising that people in many countries preferred Android to iOS.
It might have taken a while, but Android users can finally get their hands on Apple Music. “We wanted to make sure that they felt very familiar with Apple Music when they sat down to use it”. Also you will not be able to play music stored on your phone using the Apple Music beta app – it does not work as a media player. Right now users will require Android 4.3 and up in order to access the service.
One analyst suggested Apple’s goal was to lure customers to its iOS ecosystem, but said Apple Music had received mixed reviews.
“This is our first true user app … we’ll see what kind of feedback we get”. Apple Music for Android comes with a free three-month trial period after which it is paid. He says the company really tried hard to produce a great app for Android. But we did not notice any family plans for Android, which costs Rs 190 per month on the iOS platform.

Apple Music has a few catching up to do on Android: Spotify and Pandora have both been installed more than 100m times on the platform, while Google Play Music (admittedly on its home turf) is past 1bn installs.
