Apple Music applications tuned for Android-powered gadgets became available on the virtual shelves of Google’s online Play Store. For the app to work, it has to be independent of the iOS ecosystem and be truly Android.
Apple Music comes with a large catalog of music recommendations and streaming music. By Andy MaltApple has launched its Apple Music app for Android, four months after it was made available to users of its own iOS platform. Artists, on the other hand, can connect with their followers and help grow their fanbase.
It is worth noting that the app is available in every single region that Apple Music presently serves, except for China, which will be launching in the near future. Since Apple Music’s release, Apple has been very silent regarding the release of the app for Android users, and instead, we were only treated to a few leaked screenshots, giving us a glimpse of what the app would look like once it bears fruit. Music videos are coming soon, while users will need an iOS or Mac in order to sign up for the family plan. But, the application has same features as its iOS match.
Finally, and perhaps most convincingly, there’s the sense that with Apple entering the music-streaming market several years after key rivals, it can not afford to ignore a platform that has more than one billion active users – especially when Android has proven fertile ground for those rivals. Apple has created too many tabs to navigate the app’s different features, which should be more integrated. “Dizzee, Bruza and Choong Family were all influential in the early 2000s and it’s great to be able to include them in our first Apple Music Playlist”. Those who previously subscribed to Beats Music will have to download Apple Music instead so they can continue to enjoy the service.
So, why is Apple Music on Android? Non-members will have to sign up with an Apple ID.

To emphasise this point, Apple has included a prominent feedback button inside the Apple Music app menu to solicit responses from its new Android-based customers.
