Apple tomorrow will square off in court against the government, in what will likely be a long battle over whether the government can force the company to decrypt a phone that was used by Syed Rizwan Farook, one of two suspects in the terrorist attack in San Bernardino, Calif., in December that killed 14 people.
The dispute was mentioned only briefly during today’s event, with CEO Tim Cook saying: “We did not expect to be in this position”. The 9.7-inch iPad is the most popular size, said Joswiak, and over 200 million have been sold. Overall smartphone sales are slowing around the world, as most people already own one.
The new iPad Pro with a 9.7-inch display will start at $599 and be available for order March 24, the company said at an event Monday in Cupertino, California. The smaller screen Pro has a starting price of $600 without cellular capability, while the bigger Pro starts at $800.
Even though it retains the characteristics of it’s predecessor, the new iPad’s display is a lot better than your iPad Air 2.
