Apple plans to bring more apps and services to Android

But Apple’s text messaging replacement app is actually one of the reasons the iPhone is so hard to break away from.

It will be interesting to see consumer reaction with many seeing it as a savvy business move whilst other claiming that Apple have “already missed the boat” in terms of their previous stance.

Tim Cook also mentioned that the company would be bullish on its iPad and expect a revenue growth by the end of this year. This week, Apple rolled out a new update to its Android app, which uses some of the features missing from iPhones. And depending on what size of SD card your device supports, you can wind up storing the bulk of your music library on it, saving your data by reducing streaming in the process.

While Apple Music for Android looks and feels much like the service for iOS, it lacks support for Apple’s intelligent digital assistant, Siri, and voice-enabled searches.

On the topic of Android, Cook “noted his excitement over future products coming out of the software, services, and hardware divisions, while teasing some “far-off” hardware announcements coming beyond this year”, 9to5Mac reported. Those services include iCloud apps and storage, Apple Pay, and iMessage, just to name a few.
