Apple is also offering users more control over their photos with the new update. Apple didn’t confirm a release date ahead of time and the update emerged out of the blue for all iOS 9 powered devices. In turn, Apple quickly rolled out patches and updates, with iOS 9.0.1 coming in less than a week but it did more harm than good. Now that we’re a few weeks removed from the release, we want to take an updated look at the iPhone 4s iOS 9.1 update.

Introduced this fall, alongside the new iPhones and iPads, Apple’s latest mobile operating system, iOS 9 is registering a very high adoption rate, being installed on 66% of the supported iPhones, iPads and iPod touch.

If you’re a developer then we highly recommend that you update to the second beta os iOS 9.2 right away as the new pre-release build brings with it a bunch of bug fixes and performance enhancements. We will be keeping a close eye on the subsequent releases of iOS 9.2 leading to the final build, so stay tuned to our coverage.
