The festival runs for 10 nights from September 19-28. Williams, One Direction and Florence + The Machine are going to appear at the Apple Music Festival next month.

Each performance can be viewed live and on-demand through Apple Music for no extra cost, while Beats 1 will air special coverage of the performers and Apple Music Connect will feature backstage news and footage.

Dr. Dre’s new album premiered on Apple Music, as you might expect, and now Apple is leveraging its annual live music festival to promote its music streaming service.

The remainder of the lineup will be revealed in the coming weeks.

“It’ll be great to be back in London and we can’t wait to perform for our fans in the Roundhouse and around the world on Apple Music!” Media partners including the Evening Standard newspaper will also have an allocation of tickets to give away. It is also notably shorter than the typical 30 days of concerts.

The rebrand reinforces the perception that Apple Music is now Apple’s primary music brand, ahead of both iTunes and Beats.

“We’re excited to be playing at this year’s Apple Music Festival at the wonderful Roundhouse!” Apple customers will be able to stream on any device, including iPhone, iPad, iPod, Mac and Apple TV.
