Apple revamps website; removes Store!
Apple today debuted a redesigned website, which removes the standalone Store tab and store.apple.com domain in favor of embedded “buy now” links.

In a major overhaul of its website, Apple has eliminated its online store. The site has included purchasing buttons and option for every product in its pages.
Having both sites rolled into the one streamlines the shopping experience somewhat by allowing users to purchase goods from the same page they would visit to find out about those products.
Apple official website gets a makeover with some changes in the main design and also gets integrated once and for all with the Apple online store. Just check out their E-Commerce Checkout Usability reports for more details if interested.
Of course, Apple hasn’t removed the ability to purchase its expensive trinkets. For example, users who check out the iPhone portion of Apple.com can press “buy” to head over to the smartphones purchase page, while users browsing for Apple Music information can click on “try” and instantly launch iTunes on their computers.
In a statement given to TechCrunch, an Apple spokesperson said the change was done in an effort to create a simpler site for customers to learn about and shop for products.
As a result of the integration of Online Apple Store with the Apple.com website, the upper right side of Apple.com now features a shopping bag icon which represents a virtual shopping cart.

Now it will be much easier for customers to shop on the company’s website as they no longer need to deal with two separate sites – Apple.com and the Online Apple Store – navigating from one to the other. The bag menu also lets you navigate to your past orders and account settings. Every product page has a taxonomy of products.
