Apple’s ‘AirPods’ Will Reportedly Target High-End Headphone Market

Apple has already sent out media invites for its September 7 event, where it will be launching the iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus (and possibly the Apple Watch 2) devices. If you own an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, use the Safari browser on iOS 7.0 or later to watch it.

This we do know. The new iPhones will remove the headphone jack in favor of connectivity via Bluetooth and the charging port.

There have also been reports that wired headphones could be made available that connect through the phone’s Lighting port, now used for battery charging.

On the outside, the iPhone 7 is expected to look a lot like the iPhone 6, albeit with a clickless, pressure-sensitive home button. While it can’t be denied that tides are not favorable for Apple, new model of Iphone is expected to once again put Apple at the top. While various reports this past July cited an NPD Group study that noted how Bluetooth headphones had outsold wired pairs for the first time, that statement only applied to dollar sales.

It would mean that the SIM tray would have to be protected, but all the rumours suggest this could happen.

Apple is all set to unveil the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus on September 7th.

Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities has also predicted that the iPhone 7 will pack in novel features, which could attract many customers. Still speculation for now though. As for those who enjoy size, it will also come with an advantage as the larger iPhone 7 Plus will include two 12MP camera lenses on the back.

Camera flash on the new handset will be upgraded with four LEDs of which two will be in cool colours and two will be in warm colours.

We’ve enjoyed the current iPhone design for two years now with the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6s, meaning if history repeats itself, we are up for a completely new design. While Apple itself hasn’t revealed its plans, a quick glance at Apple’s online store suggests almost all of the Apple Watch models it sells are now sold out. The new shade is black.
