Apple’s iOS 10 for iPhone ‘bricking’ some users

Though Apple stated that a further software update has helped fix these issues, there are still users reporting that their iPhone/iPad has been bricked after installing iOS 10.

Users would previously slide their finger across the screen of smartphone to access their device, or use Touch ID by placing their finger on the home button. When that’s done, set up your device and restore everything from when you’ve backed up your phone with iTunes or iCloud. To backup a device via iTunes, connect it via a USB cable to iTunes, tap on the device name and click “Back Up Now”.

A new lock screen widget has been added to the app to allow you see how many unread messages you have. The tech monster has even described iOS 10 as their biggest iOS release ever, according to Mirror.

Apple made Siri available to app developers in iOS 10, so you can use the digital assistant to do more inside apps that haven’t been coded by Cupertino.
