Apple released iOS 10, the latest version of its software, on Tuesday for iPhones and iPads.

Reports suggest the problem has affected both old and new Apple devices. All the compatible Apple products like iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch running iOS can upgrade to iOS 10.

Punters around the world are saying that the update has temporarily bricked phones – or that their phones need to be connected to iTunes to complete the install.

First its highly-anticipated roll-out of iOS 10 welcomed users with a bricked device.

What has surprised even us, though, is that people are reportedly being PAID just to keep somebody else’s places in the queue. The good news is that your phone isn’t completely dead, but you will have to find a computer and do a full recovery of your phone.

Then there are those staring at a very expensive slab that is supposed to resemble a smartphone, but no longer does after Apple’s iOS 10 update rendered some of those devices useless.

And with iOS 10, iPhone and iPad owners can finally delete pre-loaded Apple apps, including Stocks, Tips, Apple Maps, Podcasts and more.

iOS 10 officially began rolling out today, but some users weren’t able to try the updates new features because it bricked their devices. You won’t have to do even that if iTunes is already downloading the software update for you automatically after determining the current iOS version.
