Judging by the volume of online chatter, there’s a lot less buzz in China ahead of this week’s expected launch of the new Apple aapl iPhone, and people on the street say they’re more likely to “wait and see” what the latest device offers than rush out to buy.

In the weeks that led to this announcement, there were a lot of rumors about what Apple might and might not include in the new iPhone model and it turns out – majority were true.

While the new iPhones maintain the same basic shape and styling of the 6/6s generations, a number of improvements have been made to the physical design. Susan Prescott, vice president of worldwide apps marketing, demonstrated the new capabilities on stage, showing how the update enables users to live-edit presentations via the Mac, iPhone, iPad or Web. In the event, Apple tackled the iPhone 7 including its impressive features such as the pressure-sensitive home button, a faster processor, a better camera, a longer battery life and the absence of the 3.5mm headphone jack to cite a few. Apple was one of the first companies to stop producing floppy and Ethernet ports for their computers, as wireless connection and USB ports started to dominate the way users shared data and information. The iPhone 7 Plus starts at £719 for the 32 GB model.

The phones come in multiple colors – gold, silver, rose gold, black and jet black. That’s $100 savings bringing the price of the $849 256GB iPhone 7 model down to $749. Shipping begins on September 16.
