With the announcement of October 7 as the date for the Indian Apple lovers to grab a new iPhone 7 or 7 Plus, the Cupertino-based tech giant has not only improved upon the product availability date for the country but is also firmly eyeing the long festive season ahead.

You will finally get access to a new and improved version of the 3D Touch (that not extends to the home button also), some durability, a brighter display, a faster CPU, stereo speakers and hopefully better battery life.

In addition to the striking appearance of the iPhone 7 Plus, the phone was surprisingly announced as water, splash and dust proof, something that largely didn’t make its way to the rumor mill that precedes the launch of new Apple products.
