Apple’s iPhone 8 To Come With Larger Battery Than the iPhone 7
The 4.7-inch iPhone 8/x is said to come with a 2,700 mAh battery, while the 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus is backed by a 2,900 mAh battery.

A source told Fast Company that the 5.8-inch iPhone 8’s brand new OLED display stretches across the whole front of the phone and will likely cost Apple twice as much as the LCD screen it presently employs. However, loyal iPhone consumer is concerned about the expensive price of it that seem to be overrated.
The iPhone 8 is going to be a game changer for: an all new design, the addition of key catch up features from rivals and an eye watering price. We expect that to be induction-based like the Apple Watch, and not contactless like the Energous WattUp technology.
According to a recent report by Goldman Sachs analyst Simona Jankowski, there is a good chance that Apple is seriously looking to incorporate several augmented reality features on the iPhone 8. In fact, Apple has essentially relied upon the same iPhone design since the iPhone 6 was first introduced all the way back in 2014. Furthermore, the device is tipped to be powered by a larger battery which is tipped to support wireless charging.
Apple has reportedly struck a deal worth $4.3 billion with Samsung’s subsidiary unit Samsung Display to supply an additional 60 million OLED panels for the upcoming iPhone. The smartphones are expected to launch in September per usual. This will be Apple’s 10th-anniversary iPhone and the successor to the iPhone 7 Plus, which when spec’d out was roughly over $950.
Which means that if you want a better battery life than the Plus version of the iPhone now offers, you’re going to have to dig deep and pay a hefty entry price.
Earlier reports also suggested that the iPhone 8 might not feature any ports at all and will only support wireless charging.
Meanwhile, according to 2017 iPhone X rumors, the new design of the smartphone will contain no bezels and that it will look like a smooth “black monolith”, giving it a minimalistic, yet stylish finish. This is important, because virtually every new feature mentioned for the new Apple product will already be available on Samsung handsets sooner.
