Apple’s Live Photos appearing on Facebook
Though the rollout for support will truly be welcomed by Facebook users on iOS devices like the iPhone 6s and the iPad, Android users won’t be able to see Live Photos on their News Feed.

This new Facebook feature is just another in what appears to be Facebook’s new philosophy of “pre-releasing” services in order to gain feedback from users.
Facebook has launched Live Photos on iOS. It is capable of uploading 1.5 seconds of video and audio too, if you hold down the shutter button.
Following Tumblr’s integration of the feature earlier this month, an even bigger service now allow you to share Live Photos – namely Facebook. After all, the two systems are almost identical. Plus with Live photos you always get a video option (unless you turn the feature off) and every still shot is accompanied by a three second video leading to it with a sound. The problem with live photos was that there were several devices which were able to capture these photos, but very few platforms where they could actually have been shared. However, in the bottom right of each picture there will be a set of circles indicating the Live Photo option, the same icon Apple uses in its iPhones.
Apple introduced Live Photos on its iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. Lift your finger and the short clip will return to the default photo.

The Live Photos will be the gathering of events that will depend on what occurs before or after capturing the photo. Apple is reassuring that the feature will continue to roll out among the broad user base over the next several weeks. That means that devices as old as the iPhone 4S will be able to view the new style of image/video on the social network.
