Apple’s New Low-Cost iPads Aim for Market Share

At an education-focused event that will be held on Tuesday at Lane Technical College Prep High School in Chicago, Apple promises “creative new ideas for teachers and students”.

Apple is scheduled to unveil the next-generation iPad with a 9.7-inch display and Apple Pencil at an event to be held in Chicago. Previous gossip pegged its starting price at $259, which would be a solid 70 bucks less than the current non-Pro 9.7-inch generation.

On the opposite side, there is numerous company like Asus, Samsung and Acer are selling their Chromebooks, not above $300. Apple is also developing specialised classroom software to improve the iPad’s usability in schools.

Sure, while everything you see above is an updated version of this or new version of that, if there’s one thing we know about Apple events it’s that, well, it’s incredibly hard to predict what will go down as the company is full of surprises. So presumably, the event may witness the launch of the new iPad along with the Apple Pencil Stylus. We shouldn’t expect a new MacBook announcement so soon, but that’s likely in the works for later this year or early next year as well.

In a statement to MacRumors Apple says, “We are aware of the issue and it will be addressed in an upcoming software update”.

Apple seems to be working on a foldable iPhone with an entirely different iPhone design that can be opened and closed like a book.

So what exactly can we expect from the Apple March 27 event? So if a student were to learn nearly everything on a Chromebook, they would be more interested in using a Chromebook in the future.

It’s been rumored for several months that Apple was considering releasing a low-priced iPad.

There are several reasons to doubt the rumor, one of which is the fact that financial analysts are usually not viewed as reliable sources for tech industry news. It’s not out of the realm of possibility for the new iPad to debut at $299, which is a price that the iPad can frequently be found at when on sale (or even lower if retailers are feeling especially frisky).

Two new Apple iPad models, “A1893” and “A1954”, were approved by the Eurasian Economic Commission.

At least for now, basically everything about the cheaper iPad is a guess.

Either way, I think that a starting price of $1,199 for an iPhone X with an OLED display is highly likely. The MacBook Air, introduced about a decade ago, hasn’t seen a major change since 2010, the same year the iPad came out.
