Apple’s next big challenge: Making Siri smarter
WWDC is Apple’s annual developer conference, and usually plays host to the company’s major software announcements.

During the time when Steve Jobs was still in charge, Steve accused Android of stealing from its iOS.
Previous reports from ZDNet suggests that Apple’s been thinking about an impending iMessage migration and said last year’s Apple Music was a big test to see how Apple services could work on rival platforms.
First and foremost, Apple will finally address the bloatware complaints about the software. Don’t hold your breath on that one. iMessage is one of the biggest reasons users stay locked into the iPhone and iOS.
But other companies are aggressively expanding their messaging services and Apple could be feeling the pressure.
On the web, you can live stream the presentations through the official URL here, just make sure you are using Safari 6.0.5 or later.
However, it’s not yet clear as to the what Apple would gain from taking iMessage app to Android.
Still, analysts say there’s plenty Apple can do to make its software more intelligent.
This iMessage provides the much praised end-to-end encryption to the messages shared between the users.
The iMessage system allows users to send encrypted secure communications to each other, and this could make it possible for Android users to more easily communicate with their friends who use iPhones. For Apple, it’s going to be a now-or-never decision. Although there are millions of people paying for the service, the app has been panned for its design and syncing issues with iCloud.
During the WWDC, Apple is set to introduce its latest OS updates.
In keeping with its other software names like iOS, watchOS and tvOS it looks like macOS will be the new name for your MacBook’s software.
Apple has yet to comment on the speculation, but it wouldn’t be the first time that the firm has released an Android app. Apple made its music streaming service, Apple Music, available on devices running Android 4.3 and above previous year. We’re not expecting anything major though, but it would be nice if Apple improved Siri controls, which are still relatively limited right now. That means Siri will finally be available on all of Apple’s devices. Siri is expected to become a lot smarter, as it will be able to understand user conversations easily. With this improvement, it could minimize errors.
The Siri upgrade is “Apple’s answer to Amazon’s Alexa and Google’s Home”, wrote analyst Gene Munster from Piper Jaffray, in a note to investors.
WWDC 2016 is just days away and alongside new MacBooks, iOS 10 and perhaps even an Apple Watch 2, we’re sure to see Watch OS 3.

Apple has also added support for Windows 10.
