Apple’s Siri Coming to Mac Devices, Google Not Default Provider

There are nearly 20 Apps that are already installed in the iPhone when we buy them and majority are of no use to us, this includes neglected apps like Tips, Stocks and Compass, or Watch and Health if you don’t own an Apple Watch and then useful apps such as Phone and Mail.

Apple Pay will now be available on the Mac courtesy of new web integration, and purchases are authenticated with an iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch using Continuity. According to a report on TechCrunch, Apple will be releasing a public beta by next month.

It’s common practice for both mobile OS developers and mobile device manufacturers to preinstall apps on the devices they ship. Users will be able to hand write messages if they wish, and make text messages larger or smaller to express their emotions.

Some of the stock apps, however, will remain as mandatory apps that users will not be able to delete. The new design is simpler, cleaner and much easier to use. In addition, Apple is giving app developers access to Siri. However, ahead of the keynote, Apple quietly inserted some of its apps into the App Store.

The new update also takes advantage of Apple’s cloud servers by automatically backing up any files on a user’s desktop or in their document folder on the company’s data servers. The user interface sports a fresh, clean and brighter look as per the claims of Apple. As such, there could be some system functions that would be affected. Siri has always been held back by Apple’s reticence to enable the assistant to interface with the wide variety of apps and devices that iOS users own and love. The high-tech giant is expected to launch the final version of iOS 10 in September.

Apple says Maps has even been upgraded with intelligence to figure out where you might want to go next, based on the appointments in your calendar and where you have gone in the past – a feature some might find a little creepy. Mashable reached out to Yelp for comment, but a spokesperson said that it is too early to discuss iOS 10.
