Not content with having a pop at the PC – which apparently the iPad Pro is going to see off for good in short order – Apple’s CEO has now put the boot in with a derogatory comment about Microsoft’s Surface Book. The tablet is big but not hefty: It’s got a 12.9-inch display yet measures only 6.9mm thick and weighs slightly over 1.5 pounds.
Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) already claims that the new iPad is faster than 80% of the PCs in the market. These color options – one for each of the three colors available for the tablet – are: Black, Blue and Red, respectively for the Space Grey iPad; the silver iPad, and the gold iPad models. In addition, you can detach the screen and use it like a Surface tablet.
It is true that iPad Pro is a great tablet. The carrier will also offer accessories like the Apple Pencil and the Smart Keyboard for $99 and $169 respectively. Schiller said the Pencil and Smart Keyboard “enable users to customize their iPad Pro experience to the particular apps they use and the work they do, making iPad Pro ideal for everything from professional productivity to advanced 3D design”.
Aside from the iPad pro, there are other Apple accessories that are created to be used with the iPad Pro: the Apple Pencil and the Smart Keyboard.
In the weeks since the launch, Apple’s released all of these but one.
Detchables like the iPad Pro are gaining ground on regular tablets. If you consider that, it almost has the same weight as the Surface Book of Microsoft if the screen is detached. “The iPad Pro powered by the AT&T wireless network helps customers of any type of business stay productive on the go”.

In a way, Gruber actually makes the case for the new iPad Pro as a replacement for a laptop where most people and critics would disagree.
