The new iOS 9.2.1 beta is now available to download from the Apple Developer Center, you need to be a registered developer to download the software. Usually, public beta test versions become available a few days after the initial version release.

As it appears, people will have to wait for a more stable version before they go and update to 9.2, or else, use the older versions, such as Pangu’s iOS 9.0.2 jailbreak. However, noting that it is a beta there has to be some critical bugs Apple wants to get out of the door.

“This is a pre-release version of iOS 9.2.1 for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch”. Instead, it probably includes some bug fixes and performance improvements to tighten up iOS. Devices updated to iOS 9.2.1 cannot be restored to earlier versions of iOS.

iPhone iOS 9 users can still use the iOS 9 jailbreak that Pangu has made last October. These, before being displayed, are curated by Apple’s News editors and several updates arrive to the users each day, according to the article. There may also be security updates for the mobile OS. Pangu’s jailbreak team is reportedly looking for vulnerabilities and exploits in the beta versions of iOS 9.2 and are also waiting for the final release.
