Apple on Tuesday released iOS 9 beta 4 and OS X 10.11 El Capitan beta 4 to developers.

This beta release follows iOS 9’s beta 3 rollout last July 8.

This is a sensible and wholly logical move since beta versions of iOS are works in progress which may affect or break certain parts of a developer’s app without that developer initially being either aware, at fault, or able to provide a fix. Most importantly, it looks like Apple has brought back Home Sharing for music after its demise in iOS 8.4. Speaking of everyone, the beta 4 release is not yet available to iOS 9 public beta testers. It also promises to improve on a number of things like bringing native apps and giving Wi-Fi access to the Apple Watch. It’s available to download over-the-air or through Apple’s Developer Center.
