Apple seeds iOS 10 beta 4 to developers
It’s now been two weeks since iOS beta 3 was released to devs, and so looking at the release cycle, it’s a good possibility that iOS 10 beta 4 will be released at some stage later today. Now, there are female options for weight lifting, basketball, and surfing, as well as new job-related emoji for female construction workers and private investigators. In iOS 10, Apple is adding new female emojis for runners, cyclists, swimming, builders and more.

This one’s different, trust us. The new emoji come following changes to Unicode implemented in July by the Unicode Emoji Subcommittee, which include male and female versions of 33 existing emoji. This exciting update brings more gender options to existing characters, including new female athletes and professionals, adds handsome redesigns of popular emoji, a new rainbow flag and more family options.
Apple is also redesigning its most popular emoji with a new appearance.
It’s a particularly important move given Apple is giving its keyboard the ability to replace text with emoji; it would be pretty disingenuous to force women to have to use male emoji for their own professions and activities.
Apple just released iOS 10 beta 4 to developers.
