Apple seeds iOS 9 beta 4 to registered developers

That’s precisely what the new Cydia Impactor tool aims to do: revert the jailbreak and make your iOS device the way it was when you first turned it on. However, with iOS 9, transit directions became available and Apple also added some extra tools that will be useful when an information is needed while on a journey.

The latest iOS 9 packs in it a host of new features, including a change in font from Helvetica Neue to San Francisco and a long-awaited keyboard correction where the alphabets are in lower case by default and turning on the shift key now changes the colour of the arrow for better understanding.

So what’s new in iOS 9?

This beta iOS 9 release follows the rollout of iOS 9 beta 3 on July 8, which included Apple Music – an app that first launched in iOS 8.4. This will offer you the ability to downgrade to an older firmware version, whenever a new iOS update comes out and obliterates all existing jailbreak exploits.

The iOS 9 beta 4 download size is between 300 and 350 MB, as it varies between each device.

Saurik calls the app Cydia Impactor. Some would still want to wait until all bugs have been fixed by the developers. Anyone who has a compatible iOS device can now download the iOS 9 beta.

News app: There is also Apple’s News app which looks a lot like Flipboard and will have access to news content and articles. Inspired from Flipboard, the new app made available to the iPhone 5 by iOS 9 will allow iPhone users to instantly update themselves with what’s what in society.

It’s an interesting concept and if you’d like to check it out for yourself, you should be able to find the package in Cydia, assuming that you have jailbroken your device already.

Jailbreaking an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, however, does have its implications, and those who go down this path do so on their own expense.
