Apple sued by iPhone owners suffering from the ‘touch disease’
Forbes magazine predicts orders will begin on Friday, Sept. 9, or Saturday, Sept. 10, with the new phone likely reaching stores on Friday, Sept. 16. Unless they have some radical new plan – I expect this to continue to get internal hardware updates throughout the year to keep it fresh and powerful.

The tech giant has begun sending out press invites for a product launch event scheduled for September 7 where iPhone 7 will be unveiled.
According to Forbes, the mega event at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium will unveil the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus smartphones, along with the next-generation Apple Watch. Though there is no mention of the prominence of the programme, its invitation message- “See you on the 7th” – says it all.
With seemingly just over a week until its official debut and officially confirmed release, the rumour train continues to trundle along with Vodafone’s Dutch arm seemingly confirming the iPhone 7’s naming for 2016.
Even though, Apple never reveals its plans before announcing the products, the date and timing of the media event is an indication of the new smartphone and it is quite possible that it will be named iPhone 7. But if reports and rumours are to be believed, it can be said that there will not be much of a change in this version, instead bigger changes are expected in the iPhone launch in 2017. However these water bubbles could be an indication of launch of a waterproof iPhone.

The “Touch Disease” problem affecting the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus handsets makes the touchscreen of the handsets unresponsive, showing up a grey bar on top the display. The grey antenna lines running across the back of the phone are also expected to disappear with the latest iteration of the popular device. The offended parties connected the issue to Apple’s choice not to utilize a metal shield or underfill to secure the applicable parts, as it did on designs of the iPhone 5.
