Putting to rest every rumour surrounding the launch of the new iPhone, Apple has confirmed that it will have a media event on September 7, 2016.

The Apple event countdown begins as the tech giant will take the stage at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in handsome San Francisco for the latest product announcements.

On Monday, Apple announced a date for its fall event, a time when the company typically unveils new products.

Apple likes to keep prices relatively stable between generations, though, so it might take the hit and match the iPhone 6S price at launch.

Other smartphones claim to be fully waterproof, but that’s never been one of the selling points that Apple have used for the iPhone.

Apple is holding its big event of the fall on 7th September and it is expected that they will finally be showing the world a glimpse of the much-awaited iPhone 7.

The invite says, “See you on the 7th”.

So what else can we expect from the iPhone 7?

According to reports, a growing number of customers have been sending their iPhone 6 handsets in for fix after a grey, flickering bar appeared at the top of their display. It is nearly certain that Apple will drop headphone jack, and go with a new Smart Lightning Connector. The larger version of the iPhone, which will probably be called the iPhone 7 Plus if Apple sticks with its conventions, may have two cameras on the back of the phone.

Wall Street will watch closely to gauge whether new iPhone features are likely to prompt upgrades of the company’s best-selling device, or whether the Watch and laptop can supplement a saturated smartphone market and boost Apple’s revenues. Until then, the web is ready for another wave of iPhone 7 leaks and rumors, the newest reporting about potential iPhone 7/7 Plus pricing. The iPhone revenue in the third quarter decreased 23.6% year over year.

“If Apple can simply maintain current levels of iPhone sales but scores a big with its 10-year anniversary iPhone next year, which is expected to include a significant overhaul, Apple would essentially get another chance at making the stock’s current valuation look borderline silly”, the article reads.
