Apple To Decrease iPhone Production By 10 Percent In Early 2017
Raymond James Financial, Inc. reissued an “outperform” rating on shares of Apple in a research report on Thursday, December 22nd.

As reported by Bloomberg, Apple wrote to India’s manufacturing industry recently in hopes of securing tax concessions on making its iPhones in the country.
According to Forbes, the projected sales would be “a lot for a single model and would prove a record- busting year should the other 2017 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch models also sell in numbers anywhere close to recent years”. But looks like with iPhone 8, it is about to change once again. iPhone 8 is rumoured to come with a larger and better display, ideally, one bigger than 5 inches.
Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 8 in 2017, on the 10 anniversary of the smartphone series. The Japanese publication, which collected data from the supply chain orders, believes that the orders are slower than expected sales.
As soon as Apple announces a new product, the wait for the same begins.
The experience led the company to control Apple iPhone 7 production by about 20 percent this year, Nikkei said.
This also falls in line with earlier rumours that suggested the Cupertino giant might move to new OLED display panels from the outdated TFT-LCD screens and would abandon the physical home button in favour of an edge to edge display.
The phones would be manufactured by Wistron, a Taiwanese OEM maker for Apple, according to top government sources.
Aside from that, BGR stated on its article that there have been hearsays stating that iPhone 8 will feature a foldable display. The paper based its analysis on numbers from Apple’s suppliers. Despite the gains made by Apple from Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7, global sale targets were not met.
In addition to the display upgrades, the new iPhone 8 is said to feature an all-glass design, similar to that of the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S.

Experts are of the view that the demand of the iPhone 7 in Japan might remain steady because of the high availability of places to make contactless payments. On average, analysts expect that Apple will post $9.01 EPS for the current fiscal year.
