Apple to launch iPhone 7 next week?
If the photo is to be believed, Apple will indeed be calling its larger new phone the “iPhone 7 Plus”, with the “iPhone 7” name being taken by the 4.7 inch sibling. It makes a distortion of the light points into orbs and this could be seen as clues pointing towards the new camera on the upcoming iPhone 7. “It previously said the new color will be a ‘much darker’ variant of Space Gray that is “close to black, though not quite black”, and mockups of what an iPhone 7 in that color could look like, including the one above, quickly surfaced around the web”. The headphone socket, may or may not be on the new iPhone 7. But it certainly is an exciting invention, especially if you consider everything else Apple is rumored to be planning for future iPhone models. The iPhone 7 Plus will use a pair of 12-megapixel, 1/3in sensor, f/1.9 cameras – just like the rumours suggested. Another item to keep an eye on will be if battery life has been improved or if it will remain largely in line with what we’ve seen from past iPhone models. So, if you want to know what to expect from Apple on 7 September, keep reading.

Apple’s fall press event is typically reserved for releasing the company’s newest smartphone model.
The Cupertino giant is expected to make the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus available for pre-orders on September 9 and release on September 23.
Apple will next week unveil its new generation of iPhone in what has become its anticipated annual fall ritual.
Last month, MacRumors revealed that an “AirPods” trademark filing discovered last October seemingly confirmed Apple’s work on upcoming wireless earphones in lieu of a headphone jack on the iPhone 7.
According to several leaks, the iPhone 7 Pro will feature a dual-lens camera from LinX, a company recently acquired by Apple.
“The present embodiments combine a number of unique features that allow for new applications not before possible”, Apple explains. However, several enthusiasts believe that retaining the earphone jack will make it hard for the iPhone to be water-resistant as water may then easily enter the phone. Remember when the images were leaked? Significantly, the picture could be legitimate, as it matches up with a similar image posted by none other than @OnLeaks. There are already some interesting and very viable rumours about the iPhone 7’s camera, display and headphone jack – and you’ll find them analysed in detail here.
Actually both. Someone recently posted what appears to be the label of a 256GB iPhone 7 on the Chinese social networking site Weibo.
The complaints started a year ago, but they went mostly unnoticed.
