At a glance, the iPhone 7 doesn’t bring dramatic changes over the iPhone 6s, which itself was almost identical to the iPhone 6.

Getting rid of the 3.5 millimeter headphone jack helped Apple make room for a second iPhone speaker designed for playing stereo sound. The BeatsX headset charges using the Lightning cable, while the Solo 3 and Powerbeats 3 charge using a Micro-USB cable.
Rumors about Apple’s audio plans circulated in advance of today’s launch event, with some people questioning the move away from the familiar and widely available 3.5 mm plug and jack. This year, Apple has doubled the capacities available when the device launches.

The AirPods include sensors and accelerometers that detect when the devices are in the user’s ear, automatically pausing music when they are removed from the ear and restarting music when they are put back in place. Starting a run is as easy as telling Apple’s voice-activated machine-learning assistant Siri to “start a run”, Trevor Edwards, Nike’s brand president said at the event. The AirPods also can detect when the user is speaking, automatically enabling beam-forming microphones created to filter out external noise.
On software, Apple has continued to make it work more tightly with the hardware, while also making them more amenable for app developers to work with. iOS 10, the latest version of Apple’s operating system for the iPhone, will be out on September 13.
The cameras also feature an Apple-designed Image Signal Processor, which according to Apple, processes over 100 billion operations on a single photo in as little as 25 milliseconds, thereby enhancing photo quality.
“The phones might look familiar from the front with a 4.7″ display or 5.5” display but once your flip It over, you get to see the upgrades in the camera with a dual 12 Megapixel camera arrangement on the 7 Plus which delivers 2X optical and 10X digital zoom.
There’s another significant change that you may never notice without a would-be mishap: the iPhone 7 is IP67-rated waterproof, which means it can take both a splash and a puddle bath without failing. Users enable the capability by selecting a “portrait” mode on the camera.
“While the camera improvements for the iPhone 7 Plus are nice, they are incremental for most and the lack of headphone jacks could offset that for others”, he said.
When sales start on October 7, the iPhone 7 model will become available for prices starting Rs 60,000 for the 32GB version.

Apple will be using a new dual-core processor in the Series 2 lineup and will also start using the new processor for the older-version Apple Watch, now referred to as Series 1.
