While it is true that the new iPad Pro sports the same A9X chipset, comparisons found on Apple’s own website have indicated that it could be an underclocked version of the A9X.

But with the iPhone SE, that won’t be the case, as the original sensor is set to perform significantly slower than the one used on the 6s. The 12.9-inch tablet has 5 times faster graphics than the A7, but the GPU in the 9.7-inch units is just 4.3 times better than the one in the A7. The iPhone SE has a 12MP iSight camera, and the A9 allows for features like Live Photos, screen-based flash for the front-facing camera (similar to the 6S), and the ability to capture 4K video. It also supports 802.11ac Wi-Fi up to 433Mbit/s.

With its dimensions and screen size identical to the iPad Air 2 model, the new iPad appears to be a successor of the iPad Air 2, but has been branded as the new iPad Pro. The 9.7-inch iPad Pro starts at $599 and is offered in silver, gold, rose gold, and space gray.
