Targeting fitness enthusiasts, Apple executives have announced an update to the Apple Watch, which will now be waterproof and feature a Global Positioning System. Susan Prescott, vice president of worldwide apps marketing, demonstrated the new capabilities on stage, showing how the update enables users to live-edit presentations via the Mac, iPhone, iPad or Web.
Apple first showed WatchOS 3 in June at WWDC, its conference for outside developers who have been so important to making iPhones a success by creating more than 2 million apps.
