Apple Watch 2 with GPS, barometer coming soon

According to reports on MacRumors and AppleInsider, the Apple Watch 2 will have a faster TSMC built processor, features like Global Positioning System, greater waterproofing, higher capacity battery and a barometer.

The Apple Watch 2 has been rumored to release during or after the annual iPhone launch event in early September 2016.

Apple Watch 2 is indeed imminent, according to reliable Apple analyst KGI’s Ming-Chi Kuo. These features will require a larger battery, according to Kuo, preventing Apple from cutting down on the device’s size.

Apple could unveil its next-generation smartwatch alongside its new iPhone 7 line for 2016, which means the Apple Watch 2 could make its official debut sometime next month.

If this is the case, then get ready to see the updated Watch launch at the beginning of September.

Model two: With some updated components the second model will be the same as the current edition, but potentially at a new entry-level price. It is safe to assume that the upcoming Apple Watch 2 and upgraded version of the first generation of Apple Watch could be launched around the same dates.

As far as the design of the new Apple Watch is concerned, the second generation will have nearly the same look and dimensions as the existing model, but it’ll be a bit thinner and feature a new display.
