CNET said on its report that the Apple Watch is already available outside the United States, particularly in UK, France, Germany, China and Japan. Starting today, Apple Watch will be officially available for sale through Apple’s retail channels across the country. Prices for Apple’s smartwatch in India start at Rs 34,900, which is about $530, for the Apple Watch Sport and RS 48,900 for the Apple Watch, about $742, the device is being sold through Apple’s authorized retailers in India. The smartwatch starts at Rs 30,900 for the base line Sport model and goes all the way up to Rs 9,90,000 for the Apple Watch Edition, which is made out of gold.
This is also Apple’s first new device category since 2010, when it entered the tablet market with iPad.
Apple Watch could be the first product class to become introduced after Steve Jobs walked down under Tim Cook, who annexed the reins of the business.

The various watch straps can also be purchased separately, including those crafted using fluoroelastomer, leather and stainless steel mesh as well as leather loops with in-built magnets that make for convenient swapping.
