Apple also launched a new version of the device called the Apple Watch Nike+, in partnership with the athletic goods manufacturer Nike Inc, featuring Global Positioning System so athletes can track their runs.

But what Apple really wants you to do is buy its new $159 product: AirPods – wireless headphones that look like the buds of the regular Apple headphones but cordless – for an “effortless and magical listening experience”, as Cook put it. The dongle is expected to be included with the purchase of the iPhone 7. It’s called A10 Fusion, which promises to be faster than the 6s.
The resolution too remains same as the previous-generation iPhones: 1,334 x 750 pixels on iPhone 7 and 1,920 x 1,080 pixels on iPhone 7 Plus.
Apple’s newest iPhones are out. Several leaks of iPhone 7 cases corroborated the lack of a normal headphone port. So when you actually get the phone, it’ll come with a pair of the old earbuds redesigned with that same lightning connector that’s on the charging cable plus an adapter for your other analog headphones. The newest features for the iPhone 7 include: water and dust resistance, a slick aluminum body that attempts to simplify the design as much as possible, a 12 mp camera, a four LED flash, and a 7 mp front-facing camera.
The 3D touch display technology stays and the displays have been upgraded to display a wider colour gamut. The secondary camera is a 7MP HD shooter. Especially the one with the dual camera. The second 12-megapixel telephoto lens brings over optical zoom to the iPhone and comes with f/2.8 aperture. The digital zoom can go up to 6x for videos and 10x for photos. Pre-orders begin this Friday, with a September 16 release data on the books.
But Apple is trying to push consumers to cut the cord with their headphones and make the leap into what it envisions as a “wireless future”. They feature a five-hour battery life, accelerometers, microphones, Siri integration and are supposedly easy to connect to the iPhone 7.
Investors weren’t very enthused about what they saw Wednesday.
Except – oops! – CEO Tim Cook had yet to announce the new version of the smartphone.
During the Apple live-stream event, there was a staged demo that showed what the app will be capable of on the Apple Watch. Other phones aren’t likely to get Nougat for a while because individual phone makers and wireless carriers have to tweak and test the new software first. The Apple Watch Series 2, as it’s called, increases the speed of the processor, which should make operation a little less sluggish.
