“Mr Baggs had suffered from asthma for many years and died as a result of his condition”, it read.

Baggs was found dead at his home by a friend on July 30 having opted for an early night the night before instead of celebrating his birthday, which had taken place a few days before.

Friends had reportedly been concerned at the businessman’s work rate.

‘We extend our thoughts to the family at this sad time and on their behalf I would request that they are now left in peace to grieve as a family.’.

“Without one, people are fourtimes more likely to be admitted to hospital for their asthma”.

The post-mortem examination following his “sudden and unexpected” death was carried out last Friday.

Mr Baggs was the youngest ever candidate on the show when he appeared aged 21 and said he had started his business career selling yo-yos in the playground. He tweeted about the project a day before his death.

And on Facebook, Stuart’s devastated sister, Charlotte wrote, “My dearest brother Stuart Baggs gained his wings”. To say we are all shocked and devastated is an understatement.

She added: “He was the biggest character and will leave the biggest hole behind. He was the king of following his dreams and making them happen”.

However, the Daily Mirror today reports that a coroner has since ruled that Stuart died as a result of an asthma attack, which has prompted charity Asthma UK to warn that though asthma is considered commonplace and is therefore perhaps not the cause of concern it should be, serious attacks can, as has been proven with Stuart’s tragic death, be fatal.

Baggs made it to the semi-final of the show and became known for his memorable one liners, such as “Everything I touch turns to sold” and “I’m Stuart Baggs the brand”.

‘The family would like to gather as many photographs of you all wearing blue in his memory so that we have as big a collection as possible to be shared when he is put to rest. “He will be remembered with affection by all who knew him on Apprentice 6″.
