Citing the Dallas police report, WFAA reported that a bullet entered through the rear of Talib’s right thigh and exited out his right calf. It’s unknown if he’ll still be able to make the trip.

Talib was shot in his lower right leg.

“Not Aqib Talib. Not Aqib Talib”.

A spokesman at Medical City Hospital confirmed Sunday afternoon that Talib was being treated at the hospital, with other media reporting that he was first treated in the emergency room, then fully admitted.

Texas laws also might present an issue for Talib as police investigate the incident. The Broncos are looking into whether Talib shot himself by accident, according to Pro Football Talk.

“Everything was a blur and I was too intoxicated to remember what happened”, Talib told police, according to WFAA.

Talib was released from the hospital after a short stay, as he was fortunate enough to only need stitches and not suffer any type of significant injury.

“While he has largely remained out of trouble since, this is the second time in 14 months that Talib has allegedly found himself in a melee at a Dallas bar…”, Bleacher Report recalled.

It appears that the league will be getting in touch with others in search of more information about what happened in Dallas early Sunday morning.

The Denver Broncos cornerback sustained a gunshot wound on his right leg, ESPN reported.

Talib was suspended four games in 2012 for a violation of the performance-enhancing drugs policy and faced charges in 2011, along with his mother, for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in an altercation with Talib’s sister’s boyfriend.

Kubiak further defended Talib when asked if the coach was concerned about Talib’s behavior.

His Super Bowl champion teammates are in Washington to meet President Obama at the White House on Monday, but Talib will not be with them.
